"King of the Coyotes"

Plus Vaudeville

In 1910, hysteria swept the nation as reports filled major newspapers with predictions that huge sections of the population would be wiped out by poisonous gasses emanating from the tail of Haley's Comet. These reports turned out to be unfounded...but on a small ranch in Montana, Bobby Harderway found himself being visited by other than celestial beings. A set of conjoined twins, a medicine show shyster, the loss of his favorite cow Isolde, and visitations from the King of the Coyotes, keep Bobby's life far from ordinary in this Gothic Western Comedy. Another off-kilter romance from David Mills-Low that will have you stretching your imagination and basking in its originality.

Grab the reigns, hold on tight, spur hard and let er buck, our own special "brand" of vaudeville immediately follows intermission!!

"The Sweeter the Rose, The Sharper the Thorn"

Plus Vaudeville

Millicent and Reginald Chandler retreat to their secluded country home to celebrate their 20th anniversary in peace and privacy. The quiet weekend of romance and roses is disrupted by an unlikely quartette of interlopers and well-wishers-a fiery suffragette in a war of words with a bombastic titan of industry, a tongue-tied junior publisher intent on finding a reclusive authoress, and a runaway heiress whose wealth is dwarfed by her wiles and wit. Former Artistic Director Jonn Jorgensen returns to OHTC to premiere this romantic rib-tickler where "the rose of romance blooms amid sharp barbs." A generous helping of our fast and funny vaudeville variety acts will follow, providing a full evening of fine family fare.

"Run for Your Wife"

Blimey! It's not taxi cab confessions but...a taxi is involved. In fact, our taxi cabby gets away with having two wives in different areas of London because of his irregular but rigid work schedule. Played by, David Mills-Low, our ruffled chap faces complication piled upon complication as he tries to keep his double life from exploding! The Opera House welcomes back Jonn Jorgensen who plays Stanley, an unwilling accomplice, in our Casanova Cabby's unraveling triangle. Author Ray Cooney had them rolling in the aisles in London and New York. "Virtually continuous laughter," said the NY Post. Under the direction of Colleen Watson our production will have you laughing 'til you stop, Mate! (Mature audiences)
